We are looking for a fashion designer who has 2 - 4 years of industry experience.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Drawing, sketching, and planning designs for a western styled line of clothes.
• Researching fashion trends and similar designs for street style western fashion.
• Creating tests/prototypes of design pieces.
• Collaborating with fabric manufacturers for materials.
• Working with other designers and creators to build designs.
• Creating matching or aligned pieces for a collection.
• Creating a plan to manufacture designs with a team or partnership

Fashion Designer Requirements and Qualifications for the job

• Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, merchandising, art, or related field but not absolutely required.
• Portfolio of previous work.
• In-depth understanding of design principles, fashion, and the fashion industry.
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must know how to use Adobe Illustrator.
