| Job Description: |
Transport officer will be responsible of:
- Procurement, registration and other documentation of vehicles/bikes.
- Ensure all documents related to drivers/vehicles are renewed well in time and provided to relevant drivers.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and implement them relating to all company owned vehicles/bikes.
- Prepare driver rotation plan.
- Ensure/monitor discipline judiciously & performance evaluation.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports regarding transport management.
- Ensure fool proof fueling system, daily check all log books maintained by drivers.
- Responisble of maintenance of fleet vehicles including crains & trucks.
- Handle accident cases, coordinate with law enforcement agencies and ensure vehicles remain operational.
Retired persons from government departments will be given preference. |
