Position Purpose
Market LUMS internationally to target regions. Assist in making and executing international marketing plans.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop international Marketing Plans
a) Assist in marketing plans in line with the internationalization goals. Ensure alignment with all schools and stakeholders for the same
b) Prepare and implement marketing activities/campaigns to build brand image and equity in target international markets
c) Work closely with the Communications team to ensure that the international communication plan is in line with the LUMS content strategy
2. Research:
a) In-depth research on international markets for an effective plan and execution. Well versed with the latest research tools and their application
b) Translate research results into customized execution in target countries
3. Relationship Management
a) Manage relationships with key stakeholders in target markets:
i. Print/Electronic media; PR agencies
ii. Schools/universities
iii. Education boards and ministries
iv. Embassies/foreign offices of target countries/regions
v. Business sector in target countries
4. Marketing activities and promotions; planning & execution
a) Marketing visits to school/colleges/universities in target countries
b) Open Days in target markets
c) Marketing and promotions collateral for target international markets; manage design and content for brochures, flyers, posters, reports, etc.
5. Information database:
Maintain and update relevant databases for international marketing plans e.g. universities/schools/agencies/companies etc
Knowledge
- Knowledge of marketing concepts, advertising, developing and executing campaigns, agency/media relations and client management.
- Know-how of digital marketing techniques and global trends in target marketing
