Introduction

We are a recently launched online education company serving our clients in UK, with our IT design and development team based in Islamabad. All our major design changes are conceptualized and designed by our London based designer to cater to the need of U.K’s clientele.

We are now inviting applications for a full-time role for a Senior Front-End Web Developer who is capable to bring those designs to reality. The mock-ups will be provided in pdf format with associated PSD files and images. Besides a good knowledge of client-side scripts, the candidate should also possess creative skills to be make minor design improvements as and when needed. The candidate will also be required to infuse the supplied designs with thoughtful UX/UI features in order to make the website more engaging to the user.

The selected candidate will be working at our Islamabad based office in Blue Area. The candidate will be part of our existing IT team with a current headcount of 6 employees consisting of senior and junior developers. The candidate will also be required to manage a junior front-end developer

Responsibilities

·       Production, modification and maintenance of application front-end

·       Be able to read, modify and optimise existing application for speed and scalability

·       Infuse UX/UI to improve website’s user-engagement and overall experience

·       Implementing responsive designs for web and mobile applications

·       Support back-end work and contribute to APIs

·       Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

·       Allocate tasks and actively manage junior developer and achieve deadlines

Summary of responsibilities – The main responsibility will be to implement HTML/CSS/JS based desings on laravel framework. Make sure it is responsive and in line with high quality and best practices in order to serve the U.K. market

Skills and Qualifications

·       Should have a good understanding of implementing designs to Laravel framework

·       Front End Languages - Excellent knowledge and 5+ years of experience of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript

·       Front end frameworks and object libraries - AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, jQuery

·       Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX: Javascript + XML

·       Good knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus

1pm to 9pm (Mon to Thursday)

5pm to 9pm (Friday)

9am to 5pm (Saturday)
