PUPOSE OF THE POST:
To help Logistics in implementing the sourcing of services and to cater the needs of all client departments, by proactively handling all procurement requests for services, also by providing timely feedback to the clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 02 years of professional experience in relevant field. (experience in recruitments an asset)
· Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in supply chain management or social sciences
Good knowledge of IT, i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
· Flexible to travel within Pakistan and abroad.
· Excellent command (written and spoken) of English.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides support in accordance with logistics standards, ICRC rules, financial procedures and regulations.
· To assist head of department in the recruitment of consultants i.e. from bidding till final offer.
· Assisting the logistician in following up on Supply requests, purchase orders, Supplier files etc, Warehouse Management.
· To implement financial and administrative procedures along with proper follow-ups.
· Handles confidential work and manages the office during the absence of the immediate Supervisor.
· Ensures that the departments have their needs and requests addressed within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance to ICRC procedures.
· Negotiates contractual matters with external interlocutors and assist head of Logistics as required
