We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing IT security team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundational understanding of firewalls, endpoint security, and cybersecurity principles, with a strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in real-world environments.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of firewall (rules, NAT, VPNs, ACLs) and understanding of Basic network security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection solutions and how they detect and respond to threats.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (threats, vulnerabilities, malware, attack vectors).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Strong analytical thinking, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
- Ability to document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps clearly.
- A degree or diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Certifications like CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE 1/2/3, or Cisco CyberOps (preferred but not required).
