The Design Architect – BIM focuses on creating and delivering coordinated architectural design documents that guide projects from concept through construction. Working closely with planners, engineers and site staff, the architect uses advanced BIM tools to translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions and ensure they align with project standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design

• Develop complete design packages—including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections and details—using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Translate conceptual designs into technical solutions that meet regulatory and project requirements.

• Prepare 2D and 3D visual presentations for internal reviews and client discussions.

• Assist with material selection, specification preparation and documentation standards.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Work with structural, MEP and landscape teams to integrate architectural designs into a cohesive project.

• Participate in design coordination meetings; identify and help resolve clashes or inconsistencies.

• Provide feedback to the planning and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct periodic site visits to confirm construction aligns with approved architectural drawings and specifications.

• Report deviations, suggest corrective actions and collaborate with site engineers to safeguard design quality.
